There are parts of the website that can be accessed without registering and entering any personal information. However, the software section is restricted to registered users.
Personal information that users could be asked to provide are: name, email, phone number, e-mail address and organisation name. These personal information need to be true, current, up-to-date and complete.
Ad Valorem will collect personal information directly when provided by users, e.g. for registering purposes. It will also automatically collect information when you users visit its website, such as computer's operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language. This information will be collected solely to provide our services.
Ad Valorem will use personal information when required to process purchase orders, to provide an employee expense report online service and to provide technical supports.
It may also use personal information to communicate with registered users for a number of reasons, e.g. to give them updates, to send them technical notes, administrative messages, or news about products and services. Users will be able to opt-out of some or all of marketing related messages.

Payment information obtained through our website regarding credit cards, is provided through Paypal or other financial institutions and is the complete responsibility of these financial institutions. These responsibilities include the storage of credit card information. Ad Valorem does not store credit card information. However, online services sales are provided by Ad Valorem Inc, and information relating to the client status such as the address of the client is an information kept by Ad Valorem.
The software environment contains a number of measures to protect the privacy, the confidentiality and the integrity of users' personal information. The software operates in a secured and controlled environment using Secure Socket Layers (SSL). The information is protected using data encryption, server authentication, and firewalls. Online sessions will be secured with logons, personal identification (user name and password), and around 60 minutes session time-out.
In case the password or the account of a user is or look compromised, the user in question should contact without delay Ad Valorem, so that corrective actions could be taken.
Users should be careful regarding fraudulent use of email, e.g. spoof sites, spam and chain letter email. Users should protect their computers from infections, e.g. viruses, worms and Trojan horses.
